Youth hockey group aims to help First Nations fight teen suicide
The hockey group Right to Play is best known for its work in war zones, where it tries to help young people build self-esteem and leadership skills. Now it’s headed to the Moose Cree First Nation on the James Bay coast in northern Ontario, where 13 teenagers hanged themselves last year and another 80 tried to kill themselves, the Toronto Star’s Tanya Talaga reports.
